Turbulence II fan doubt

Yeah, pulled one to take a look, only two wires to the Molex connector, the outside wire is power the inner on the molex is a ground, so it's a single source hot

It's not separated. Both wires are connected in a green electronic board.
It's not needed to "open" it. Just remove the green adesive and you'll see the board.

To be honest not sure if you can, think you would have to open it up and see if the lights are wired separate from the fans, I've got three or four of them sitting, but I get calls for things like those just to add color and looks, so don't really want to pop one open, I'll drop a note to GSkill Tech and see if they have a way

It?s damnly useful and well made, but...
How do I turn these leds off?
