    CPU AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz Socket AM3+ 95W

I haven't hooked it all up yet was looking for advice on setting the RAM up.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

Manually set DRAM Frequency to DDR3-1866

Check DRAM timings and Voltage to make sure they are correct.

    CPU-NB Voltage 1.20-1.25V

Save, exit, and the system should be ready to go.

    Thank you

      no luck

I tried to set everything up the way you said but it won't run at 1866 only 1600

Do you have the latest BIOS? Post some pictures of BIOS and we can see what's going on.

I have been doing some research and the people are saying that the CPU will only support 8 of the 16 GB at 1866 is this true?

Further tweaks may be necessary to be stable, but it can be overrided.

In addition, if you needed 16GB, it is best to have a 16GB kit, not 2 x 8GB kits.

            Thank you

Disable ECOP, you should have x9.33 option for Memory Clock.

Row Cycle Time should be 40.

If you want to keep at Memory Clock x8.00, set CPU Host Frequency to 233.

Make sure to lower CPU Ratio since it will overclock the CPU frequency too.

                      Thank you
