  • 2x4GB modules x3 -> 24GB? compatibility issues?

    Hello,

    My specs:
    Asus p6t SE, x58 1366 socket
    Intel I7 920 1366 socket

    3 x 2GB AData 1600mhz DDR3
    3x 2GB Crucial 1600mhz DDR3

    Total ram, 12GB

    I would like to upgrade my system to 24GB, doubling the current ram with these ramsticks.
    Ripjaws ] F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL (4Gx1) / F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL (4Gx2)
    2 x 4GB 1.5V 9-9-9-24-2N 1600mhz DDR3

    I wish to buy 3 packs of these, having 6 sticks of 4GB resulting in 24GB and run them in triple channel.

    Ram seems to be manufactured for "dual channel" compatibility and does not have my motherboard (asus p6t se) supported.

    Can I just ignore this and use it anyway (in tripple channel) without compatibility issues?

    I'm from Europe (where electronics is expensive as hell) but I found a really good deal for these modules so I'd like to get them as soon as I get confirmation they'll work.

    Thank you for your time.

    That is something you need to try. We can not guarantee it because we did not test them together at factory.

      But in theory it should work, right?

      Or are there some changes done to the actual modules that could interfere with it?

        Yes, but triple channel is very picky. A slight difference can cause a stability problem, missing capacity, etc.
