I'm having troubles getting my new build to POST, and it looks like there are some technical issues with the default BIOS for MSI's P67 and G.Skill RAM. I'm wondering if these issues would cause the computer to not be able to POST at all.

No, the memory should definitely POST. Try one stick at a time. It is possible the motherboard is bad.
