F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL running at 1600 on a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3

I just setup a new computer last night and I have a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 mainboard with 8gb of F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL memory. The bios is set to Auto and is defaulting to 1600 instead of the 1866 its supposed to be. I went into the Advanced memory features in the bios and manually set the bios to 1866 and it is not taking the setting and resetting back to 1600. Im not a overclocker so does anyone have any advice they can give me on how to get my memory to the 1866 settings?
