I purchased F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM from newegg. At stock speeds of my CPU (2.8Ghz) the computer can boot up and runs at ram speed 1600mhz (manual set to 8-8-8-24-1T).

I have some issues in overclocking the CPU. At CPU overclock (3.5Ghz - 250x14.0) my ram runs at 1666mhz. (not prime stable though-8-8-8-24-1T)

When I tried to overclock my CPU to 4Ghz, I under clocked the ram (1524mhz) speed but it doesn't work. It doesn't work at speeds below are above that

What ram speed and timings do I need to choose to get 4Ghz overclock (286x14).

    Mother board: GA-880GA-UD3H, rev 2.2, F7 bios
    Phenom 1055T

What is your DRAM Voltage? Try raising CPU-NB Voltage or DRAM Voltage to see if that helps. You can also test one stick at a time to make sure one module is not causing the problem.

    Thank you

      Thanks
DRAM voltage 1.5V. I will try increase DRAM voltage or CPU-NB voltage and keep you dated.

        Finally got the correct timings
at 3.8ghz cpu overclock (272x14). ram frequency 1449 Mhz, the timings were 7-7-7-22-2T
at 4ghz cpu overclock (286x14), ram frequency 1564 Mhz, the timings were 8-8-8-22-1T (passed intel burn test). Need to check prime 95

Running at stock DRAM voltage 1.5V and stock CPU-NB voltage and stock CPU-NB frequency

Nice, I would raise the voltage a little more and push those sticks. Seems like they have potential.

          Thank you
