Hi everyone, a little help please.
First off how reliable is memtest86 version 4.0? the reason i ask is i just purchased a set of Ripjaws F3-10666CL7D-8GBXH and even though i have had absolutely no issues with them for the time they have been installed i decided to run memtest86 4.0 just to make sure they're a good set. low and behold in the first pass of test 7 at 25% it goes crazy with errors (over 100,000 and did not stop) i have tried every possible combination (1 stick or 2 in different slots) and it is always the exact same outcome if necessary i can take a screen shot and post after later work.
could this be a timing issue as i manually set timming to what the set recomends which is 7-7-7-21 2 @ 1.5v
my build is:
gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 rev. 2.2
AMD PHENOM II X6 1055T 2.8GHZ
PALIT NVIDIA GTX 460 DDR5 1GB SONIC PLATINUM (FACTORY OC'D)
CORSIAR TX750
WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM 64-BIT
