  • MSI P67A-GD55 and G.Skill RAM

I read the sticky but am not sure if it covers pretty much most of the G.Skill line up.

I'm using an F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM on my MSI P67A-GD55 with BIOS v1.8 and I only actually got my system to POST twice, and only by having a single stick each time.

Are my RAM sticks among the models that are having compatibility problems with MSI's P67 boards?

    Thanks!

CL8 should be fine... Does 1 stick work fine all the time? And only both modules installed has a problem? Or is 1 stick at a time unstable too?

    Thank you

Booting with 1 stick typically works fine.

I found a temporary solution which is a bit odd. I put both sticks into DIMMs 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3 and now my PC is working without a hitch. I've done a bit of reading and it seems some other people have had a similar experience.

Good to hear, hopefully that's good until they make some revisions.
