X58 Sabertooth & 24GB DDR3

Hi,

I currently have an ASUS X58, along with an i7-970 Gulftown 3.2GHz 6 core processor.

I purchased the Ripjaws Series 24GB (6x4GB) DDR3 F3-10666CL9T2-24GBRL for the DDR3.

Initially only 16GB showed up running Windows 7 64 bit Professional. After I updated Windows with all of the updates, all 24GB showed up.

However, shortly after, again only 16GB is showing up.

I have tried:
Clearing CMOS
Updating to most current BIOS
Moving modules around
Increasing DRAM voltage to 1.5V
Setting frequency to Manual, and then setting to 1333

And still, I can only get 16GB to show up.

Do you have any suggestions? Could I have a faulty 1-2 DIMMs?

You can try test them individually to see if they perform the same.

Otherwise, try raising QPI/DRAM Core Voltage to 1.15V or 1.20V to see if that may stabilize the reading.

If not, send them in for a new kit to see if they work better.
