Just installed a new Biostar TA870U3+ mobo, new F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL and am using the Phenom II X3-720BE from my old setup (TA790GX-128M, 4x2Gb GSkill DDR2-800). When I use the T-Series V-tech Engine auto-overclock options in the BIOS the system stops on the POST screen with the following : "too many cold rest due BIOS POST. System might be incorrectly overclocked. Press DEL to resume" . DEL takes me back into the BIOS.
Changing the setting for the overclock to normal (i.e.: bacl to stock 2.8Ghz) boots into Win 7 x64 fine. I have tried setting the memory down to 1066 but still get that message using the auto overclock V-Tech Engine settings.
Just curious if it's more the CPU's issue or the memory's. On stock 2.8Ghz, system boots up and runs fine.
