  • F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM Cold Boot BS'sOD

    Hello,

I have an AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Cpu, a Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H motherboard and a set of F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM (2GBX2)

It worked great for around 5 months, but after a recent re-install of windows 7 with a new ssd things went wrong, there were abnormalities after the installation had finished. It seemed asif the install had been corrupted. After a few days i began to experience BSOD's within the first few minutes of windows loading. I re-installed again, this time the install seemed ok, but again, a few days later, the BSOD's, this time though they were more frequent, also during one boot i got a message saying that the boot image was corrupted, but after a restart it booted fine. It seems a little tempremental, after getting past the initial BSOD's, it seems to run flawlessly, untill the next cold boot the next day.

I know this ram isn't on the QVL for my MB but could it work?

    Thanks, Mike

It should, test one at a time to see if one may be bad causing a problem. If so, send them in for RMA and the replacement kit should work fine.

    Thank you
