  • Issues with f3-12800cl9d-4gbrl ddr3 2048 ram

I believe i have faulty ram but im not sure im using cpu-z and my ram is reading at pc3-106700 max 667 hertz.

im using a M4A78T-E MOTHER BOARD , 4 STICKS OF THE SAME RAM.

From what I looked up on your motherboard it could just be the motherboard reading the speed incorrectly for that section, but under your memory Tab it is showing the proper speed of 800MHz which is 1600MHz.

could be because your board is rated for 1333MHz/1600MHz (OC)

All DDR3 motherboards are rated at DDR3-1333 (667MHz).

So with ANY motherboard, ANY CPU, ANY memory, "max bandwidth" in CPU-z will always be the same.

      PC3-10700 (667MHz)

This is fixed, does not have to do with anything else but the standard. The standard doesn't change, so this will never change!

      Hope that is clear.

      Thank you
      GSKILL TECH

P.S. Your memory is operating correctly, as shown in the memory tab. sscultima has the right idea.
