I built a new system using the above, along with 24 GB (3 x GSKILL F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL ); the system booted, but only showed 8 Gb enabled. Gigabyte support stated the memory was not compatible, steered me to GSKILL F3-10666CL9T-12GBRL. I had 24 Gb installed (2 x GSKILL F3-10666CL9T-12GBRL ), with same result, even after updating to the latest BIOS. (I am using a computer tech service now). The memory above 8 Gb shows as being installed but not "enabled."
Now when I check the various customer feed-back statements, only a very few have not had problems with GSkill sets. I choose your memory based on price and the 1.5v specification. Should I just give up and go to Kingston, as the tech service suggested?
