  • F3-12800cl7d-4gbrh with p7p55d = bsod with w764

Hi, I got the problem similar to other users :

    ASUS P7P55D Deluxe (lastest BIOS)
    8 Gb F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH
    Windows 7 64...

And impossible run... After seconds, I got a BSOD. I can't work, it's very important for me run properly this system...

With only 4 Gb of RAM the system is stable.

    I try this in BIOS:

    Here are the settings FYI:

    IMC Voltage - 1.2V
    DRAM Voltage - 1.6V

    DRAM CAS Latency - 7
DRAM RAS to CAS Delay - 7
    DRAM PRE Time - 7
    DRAM ACT Time - 21
DRAM RAS to RAS Delay - 4
DRAM REF Cycle Time - 80
DRAM WRITE Recovery Time - 10
DRAM READ to PRE Time - 7
DRAM FOUR ACT WIN Time - 20
    But no results for me...

    Can anybody help me, please?

    Thanks.

I have the same set up and I'm having them same issue. 2 sticks passes memtest,4 will not.
Constant BSOD with all 4 sticks installed.
My son got me this ram as a Christmas gift. I'm using my PC as a daw,not for gamming.
That's all I want is a large amount of stable ram. I think that this high speed gaming ram is not
        needed for my use.
I would be happy just to get 8 gigs of stable ram.

Enable XMP and see how that works.

Raise IMC Voltage if it is unstable.

          Thank you

I've been using XMP all along. I just updated my bios to 1807 and raised the IMC voltage to 1.1
I'm running MemTest64 deluxe booting from a CD. The test fails instantly.
It will pass memtest with either pair installed but fails with all 4 sticks at once.
            Thanks for your response

Slowly raise the IMC to see if that helps.. otherwise, the two kits may simply be incompatible.

I've been stepping up the voltage and then booting from memtest after every increase.
Ram fails test instantly. I'm up to 1.35v. How high do I go before this gets dangerous.
If I can actually get it to work ,is more cooling required? I am using this PC as a DAW.
I don't want a PC that sounds like an air condiotioner running in my recording studio.
                Thanks

Post up pictures of your BIOS. Based on what's given, I can't see why the memory is not working properly.

                  Thank you

Send them in for new replacements. Request to have them tested, and we will make sure that they work on this P7P55 motherboard flawlessly before we ship them to you.

                      Thank you

Same problem for me... XMP activated, same configuration IMC... One of the sticks and was changed because it gave errors in memtest, but the problems persist... What I can do?

Same thing, send the entire kit for a new replacement. Request to have them tested and we will test on the P7P55 before we ship them out to you.

I submitted an RMA request on Saturday. How long does it ussually take to get a RMA number?
