  • Bios RAM Configuration

    Hello,
Recently I did my first build with a
    Motherboard: Asus p6x58D-E
    CPU: i7 930
    RAM: G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ

My ram only shows up at 2 gigs out of 6 gigs. Before it use to show randomly as 4 gigs and sometimes 6. It also shows my Ram speed as 1066. It has been running fine for a week. I tried to enable XMP Profile and it shows me my full 6 gigs at the 1600 speed however it increases my temperature by 5 degrees which I don't really like (Hopefully this means that my memory isn't defected). I don't plan to overclock my computer and prefer not overclock. All and just want stability even if the speed is at 1066. I also found a Bios template of what my layout looks like on Asus Bios from i4memory forums and was wondering if somebody could help me on what I should manually put in or suggest I should do.

    Thanks,
