bios says 4gb vista 32Bit says 2999

Any suggestions is the ram bad or is it fail *** vista messed up it is 32 bit vista

haha It is because the os is 32 bit. You need to upgrade to 64bit to see the rest of the memory.

fail **** vista 64 bit would show all 4GB. =)
