F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL (4gb) and Asus M4A785T-M-CSM

I am trying to set up this RAM with mobo(and AMD x4 635) and none of the other posted configuration guides addressed this setup(bios).

The mobo is only able to run this ram at 1333mhz(But claims to be able to run at 1600(OC). I was later told that this 1600mhz speed is only obtainable if I overclock the CPU, which I am not interested in doing. Can you confirm this as I would like to run the RAM at 1600 if possible, but not if I need to OC the CPU as well.

Since the RAM is not running at full capbaility, I was advised to run it at lower timings and voltage to match the 1333mhz speed the mobo is running it at.

Please explaim to me what settings I need to set in the mobo- as I said before, none of the other configurations on the website show this particular Asus Bios (menus are different) .

Sorry, have been backed up a little so responses are taking longer than usual.

For DDR3-1600,

Set system memory multiplier to x8.00

Advanced DRAM Configuration, set timings to tCL 9 - tRCD 9 - tRP 9 - tRAS 24

DRAM Voltage 1.50V

CPU-NB Voltage +0.1V

For DDR3-1333, set multiplier to x6.66

Timings to 8-8-8-24, 1.50V
