  • Cannot get F3-12800CL7D to work on a GA-P55A-UD3

    Hi everyone!

Well, after trying for over 4 weeks now, I am unable to get G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL7D to work on my Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3. This has been the MOST frustrating computer build I have ever encountered and I have built many over the years.

Here is the build I have now been attempting for over 4 straight weeks:

    Intel i5-750
    Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3
WD Caviar Black 500 GB 7200 RPM
    Maxtor 1TB
    G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL7D
Enermax Infiniti Ein720AWT 720W Modular PSU
    Cool Master Sniper Black Edition
    PNY 9800 GTX+ 512MB
    Corsair Cooling Hydro Series CH50
    LG DVD Reader/Writer
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I have been encountering BSOD's repeatedly no matter what I have tried.

Here is one of the wonderful messages Windows is giving me:

    Memory_Management

    Technical info:

    ***STOP x0000001A (0x0000000000041287, 0x0000000000000030, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)

BTW, according to Microsoft, the explanation for 41287 error message is:

    0x41287
Internal memory management structures are corrupted. To further investigate the cause, a kernel memory dump file is needed.

Here are some of the things I have tried so far:

    Default BIOS on the MOBO
Optimized settings in the BIOS of the MOBO
    Update my BIOS to f9
Sent back the MOBO to Gigabyte, and they tested it and sent it right back to me, letting me know it works perfectly.
Unplugged everything and reassembled the entire system again [X4]
Uninstalled Windows 7 three times and reinstalled it three times [x3]
    System restore
    System repair [within Windows 7]
Tried with XRP on, as well as XRP off
MEMtest86+ [sometimes shows errors, sometimes does not]

I am addressing G.Skil directly now:

You assured me BEFORE I purchased your sticks of G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL7D that they would be compatible with the Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 MOBO and that I would have nothing to worry about...

On the basis of your assurance and word, I purchased your G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL7D and have nothing but heartache, frustration, and failure after failure now for four straight weeks non-stop.

I feel angry that you would assure me of compatibility and yet your RAM fails to work in my new system.

Gigabyte is saying this is a RAM compatibility issue yet you assure me it works fine on this MOBO.

I would like a clear, correct, concise and accurate answer as to why this RAM is not working or exchange RAM that will work with this system.

    Thank you,

    Soar

Sorry to hear you are having such issues., but now that we know you're having an issue, we will do our bes to assist you.

You may have received a bad set. Try testing each module with the XMP profile to see if one may be causing the problem. Otherwise, simply end them in for new replacements and the new set should work better.

    Thank you

Try out to disable LLC, more voltage on Vcore and not to much on VTT, not more than 1,15V.

LLC lead me to bluescreens, without everything works fine.
