System: Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 bios update F3
G.Skill Ripjaw 2x2GB F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM
AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE 3.2GHz revision C3
Gigabyte ATI Radeon GV-R583UD-1GD
Windows 7 Pro 64bit fully updated
700W Power Supply
The day I built the computer OS installed no problem and Dragon Age: Origins installed and played no problem.
Few days later Crysis was installed and played no problem.
Computer stayed off for a few days and then random BSoD started popping up while playing Crysis.
Using Windows memory diagnosis showed a hardware problem.
Installed only one stick of ram and diagnosis showed no problem.
Installed the other stick of ram and diagnosis showed no problem.
Reinstalled both sticks of ram in slots 1 and 2 and diagnosis showed no problem.
System worked fine for the remainded of the day.
Next day installed Starcraft II and played it no problem.
Next day went to play Starcraft II and got random BSoD.
Read the forums and tried various timings.
Finally installed ram in slots 1 and 3 and system ran fine for the rest of the day.
Today the system is to unstable to even load Windows.
Any thoughts, suggestions, BIOS settings would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben
