Memory setting in BIOS

I have the G.Skill 6gb PI series. They are rated for 1.5v.

Question:

Most i7 overclocking guides I see recommend setting DRAM Bus Voltage to 1.64 or 1.66. I can't seem to get a straight answer as to whether or not this is safe to do for RAM that's only rated at 1.5.

1.50V is fine. Only 1.65V memory do you need to worry about this. 1.64V in that case would be sufficient, for G.Skill memory.
