Also my CPU is a AMD Phenom II X4 955

This memory is working out of the box but now I want to speed it up a bit. I've seen a lot of people on various forums saying that this memory is pretty good with the 890fx mobos as long as you are willing to get into the BIOs and play around but I'm not seeing much as to what people are actually using for settings. So two questions:

1. G.Skill folks, what do you recommend?
2. Anybody who has this combo (or even a different 890fx board), what's worked for you?

You can easily try DDR3-1700 8-8-8-24 1.60V. Increasing timings and voltage can help with overclocking, so you will just need to trial and error.
