Memory model/part numbers
I am a newbie computer builder. Parts for my machine are in transit, but I THEN looked at the acceptable memory for the motherboard.
motherboard: ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition
The memory I ordered (F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM 8-8-8-21) is not listed by ASUS in their compatible memory list for the motherboard, but these two are:
F3-10666CL8D-4GBECO(XMP) 8-8-8-24
F3-10666CL8D-4GBHK(XMP) 8-8-8-21
Should my RM memory work in this board? Is there somewhere that explains the various suffixes on these model numbers?
