  • F3-12800CL6T-6GBPI Doesn't POST at CL6 on my Overclocked System

Model of the motherboard: Asus P6X58D-E (303 Bios)
    Model of the memory: F3-12800CL6T-6GBPI (G.SKILL PI 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory)
Model of the CPU: i7 930

Hello all, I just built a new system but can't get my memories to POST at all 6-8-6-20 1.6v after I overclock my system.

here's my overclock and bios settings, my system has been stable for a day or so, but I got memories running at 9-9-9-24, which is what the Mobo sets them at auto settings, hopefully you can advise me on the correct setting to run them at 6-8-6-20

Here are my bios overlock settings:

    From http://www.overclockers.com/forums/s...d.php?t=646868
this is a 4GHz overclock with Hyperthreading stable.

Update: Got the system to post with memories @ 7-8-7-24-2N - 1.5V

    Doing tests, but seems stable.

Any suggestions for getting the memories at CL6?

System became unstable suddenly (Wouldn't load windows sometimes, and also got a BSOD), decided to get rid of the OC and just work on getting the memories stable, what are the correct bios settings for my motherboard for these modules?

      need help please!!!!!
