I wonder will the G.Skill Trident "F3-12800CL6D-4GBTD" work on GA-P55A-UD4 rev. 2.0, because it is not listed as qualified in either gigabyte or g.skill site.
But F3-12800CL8D-4GBTD is qualified by g.skill and F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD is qualified by gigabyte.
Also about this 6D model, is it supposed to run faster than the 8D? How about the price, will it cost more. Right now, I couldn't find out its price.

Yes, it will work just fine. The CL6 is suppose to be faster than the CL8, and it will cost more. Since the F3-12800CL6D-4GBTD is currently unavailable, you can take a look at these kits:
