  • FA-10666CL9D-8GBSQ in 1066MHz-Mode

    Hi,
I'm curious what CL the FA-10666CL9D-8GBSQ would have when run in 1066MHz-Mode.
    7-7-7-20?
I want to continue using them when I buy a new Mac, and my current Mac only supports PC3-8500, while the i5/7-Models support PC3-10666.

    Regards

The computer should automatically downclock on its own. I don't know it's minimum for DDR3-1066, but I would guess 7-7-7-20 as well.

    Thank you

It doesn't. The new Mid-2010 Mac Mini can handle 1333MHz.
      I just found out

Great, your CPU FSB may be 1333MHz, so it is capable of DDR3-1333.

        Enjoy!

        Thank you
