  • Asus M4A87TD

    Hey,

I just recently bought new hardware:

    AMD Phenom II 955
    ASUS M4A87TD/USB3
    and the Gskill F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM

I keep getting random blue screens and app crashes. What are the correct timings and voltages for this? Right now I'm running it at the recommended from my mobo of 7-8-7-24 2T 1600 and 1.6v. I've tried a bunch of other combinations that also didnt work.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

I have the same setup except I am using a AMD Phenom II 1055T.

    Please help with the timings

Raise CPU-NB Voltage, set NB Frequency to x11, and that should stabilize.

Otherwise, use 8-8-8-24 and it should be fine.

      Thank you

Still getting issues. I tried both of those configurations.

Test one at a time ro see if one may be defective. You should have no problems with those settings.
Send them in for new replacements after you sort it out.

          Thank you

I tested just one and it ran stable. Should I RMA the second stick?

Yes, if that one had a problem.
