  • F3-12800CL9-2GBNQ -- Loosing 2G

    About two months ago I purchase or assembled my own computer;

    Motherboard: ASUS P6X58D Premium
    RAM: 2 sticks of G.Skill F3-12800CL9-2GBNQ
    CPU: Intel I7 930 Bloomfield
    Operating system: Windows 7 64bit

    All of these was purchased new two months ago.

    From day one I noticed that Windows only seen 2g out of the four, so I tried tweaking Bios Dram voltage along with overclocking my cpu and it would work, Window and Bios could see the 4g. The next day when I started my computer, it would start all over again and Bios and Windows could only see 2 g. I have talked with eva2000 and here is the link: http://i4memory.com/f54/p6x58d-premi...ing-ram-24202/.

    I have tried everything I could which it would work for one day, but the following day it goes back . . . .every time. I also tried the "MEMOK" button on the motherboard and it would work, but the next day it goes back to 2g

    According to CPU-Z, it can see both ram stick along with CPU-TWEAKER 1.5

    Hello . . . . I have been trying some things like removing my ram sticks and cpu and reinstalling, but still no good.

      Send the memory in for new replacements. I would suggest paying ~$60 to get a third stick to operate at optimum performance. We can send you the triple channel kit instead of this dual channel kit.

        How do I go about returning the sticks? Meaning, Where do I send them and is there not a order number or something?
