  • Compability memory with Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H

Good day. I bought motherboard gigabyte 880GM-UD2H, AMD socket AM3, support dual channel, and I'm using Phenom II X4 955 BE. I'd like to ask about the memory compatibility. Which memory that compatible with my motherboard, so the dual channel operation of the memory can work and reach the announce specification or at least the dual channel can fully operate at 1333Mhz. I planned to use PC12800 1600 Mhz. And please tell the correct set of the memory timing for 1600Mhz and 1333Mhz if the memory PC12800 need to dropped down.. Thank you for your support. I wish your company continuous success. You can send e-mail to me. My e-mail : sigumbagumba@ymail.com

Most of our DDR3-1600 CL8 or CL9 will work just fine. If you have a specific kit in mind, let me know and I can verify that.

      Between Gskill DDR3 PC12800 4GB NQ Dual Channel F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ / 9-9-9-24
      Gskill DDR3 PC12800 4GB RL RIPJAWS Dual Channel F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL / 9-9-9-24
      Gskill DDR3 PC12800 4GB TD TRIDENT Dual Channel F3-12800CL8D-4GBTD / 8-8-8-24
      Gskill DDR3 PC12800 4GB RM RIPJAWS Dual Channel F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM / 7-8-7-24

which one is the most fit ( compatible ) with my motherboard, so the dual channel can work fully function? Because I heard that for AMD processor & motherboard, cl7 ( tight timing ) is better than cl9. Is that true?

Yes, but most AMD systems are not capable of DDR3-1600 CL7. It can only do DDR3-1600 CL8. For best performance, I would use the G.Skill F3-12800CL8D-4GBTD.
