  • Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R + F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R, ver 1.0
    BIOS version: F5
    Memory: G.SKill F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ
    Processor: i7-980X
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit

I have 6GB of memory installed, but Windows 7 64-bit is reporting the following: "6.00GB (2.00GB usable)." When I power cycled the system, I noticed that only 2GB of memory is posting. CPU-Z corrrectly reports that I have slots 1, 3, & 5 filled with 2GB DIMMS each, and a total of 6144MBytes of memory running on triple channels. I've tried swapping the DIMMS around and updating (then downgrading back) to beta F6i, but the amount of memory that POSTS (and which Windows 7 64bit reports) is 4GB.

As for settings in BIOS, this is what I'm using (pretty much pulled from http://gskill.us/forum/showthread.ph...highlight=UD3R, with the exception CPU clock ratio setting):

    CPU Clock Ratio - 25x
    QPI Link Speed - AUTO
    Base Clock Control - Enabled
    BCLK Frequency - 133
    Performance Enhance - Standard
    Extreme Memory Profile - Disabled
    System Memory Multiplier - 12

    DRAM Timing Selectable - Quick
    CAS Latency Time - 9
    tRCD - 9
    tRP - 9
    tRAS - 24
    Command Rate - 2
    DRAM Voltage - 1.500V
All of the other memory settings are set to AUTO

I have not manipulated any of the voltage settings pertaining to the CPU, uncore, etc. Any suggestions?
