Hello can you provide settings to bring this ram to spec. DDR3-2133 CL9-9-9

    Setup:
    Water Cooled HP blackbird Case.
    ASUS Maximus III Formula P55
    2XG.SKILL F3-17066CL9D-4GBTDS Trident- 8gb total.
    Intel Core I5 750

I used the Asus Auto Overclocking - TurboV EVO and it hit 3.8ghz.
    Just need a few tweeks.

    Thanks Ken

You will need a lot of tweaks. In order to operate your memory at ~DDR3-2133, your BCLK must be 213. BCLK 213 will not be easy to stabilize and not all CPUs are even capable. Because you have an i5 750 CPU, the memory multiplier is locked to 10X, which is why 213 x 10 gives you DDR3-2130

Then, you are going for 8GB, so it will require even more magic.

    Try these settings first:

    AI Overclock Tuner - Manual
    CPU Ratio Setting - 14.0 for 2.80GHz
    BCLK Frequency - 200
    DRAM Frequency - DDR3-2000MHz

    DRAM Voltage - 1.65V

    DRAM Timing Control (submenu)
    CAS Latency - 9
RAS to CAS Delay - 9
    RAS PRE Time - 9
    RAS ACT Time - 24

    DRAM Timing Mode - 2N
    All others can be AUTO

    Let me know the results.

    Thank you

There you go! Well done. If you have time, please post pictures of your BIOS so future users may be able to use your settings as a reference.

This looks like the best it will do thats stable and good for daily use.

For Bios settings I kept default and auto settings. I used mem up and set it to 2200 then adjusted bus to 220

thats all I did hope this works for others.

Perfect. You found a couple more MHz. The P55 is probably the easiest system to reach high performance without much tweaking, especially with this motherboard. I'd have to say I'm surprised you used mem up. haha

            Enjoy! Should be very fast!

            Thank you
