This is my first time to OC and I've never done it before.

I have the following specs:

Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5
8GB GSKILL 12800CL9D-4GBNQ
1090T CPU
HD 5970 Video

Can someone please assist me? I read that it's better to OC using BIOS instead of using EasyTune6 or AMD Overdrive...

First, you have to get the memory stable, then you can work on CPU oc.

DRAM Frequency DDR3-1600
DRAM Timings tCL 9 - tRCD 9 - tRP 9 - tRAS 24 - Command Rate 2
DRAM Voltage 1.50V

CPU-NB Voltage +0.1V
