Will F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM work on a GA-P55a-UD3 MB?

Hi everyone!

I recently purchased a brand new Gigabyte GA-P55a-UD3 motherboard with the Intel I5-750 combo. I need to purchase DDR3 RAM.

I have read lots of post from many different forums. Gskill seems to be the obvious winner for this combo.

I would like to purchase 4GB's of the Gskill F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM [7-8-7-24-2N], but I am not sure if it is capable of going to 1600MHz with the Gigabyte GA-P55a-UD3.

Can someone please let me know if this will work. I want to be sure BEFORE I purchase the RAM.

Many many post are recommending this Gskill RAM:

F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL [9-9-9-24-2N]

They say they can get the 1600 out of this RAM but this RAM has a higher set of timings and CAS than the F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM.

Can someone kindly direct me to the best RAM for my Gigabyte GA-P55a-UD3/Intel I5-750 Combo please?
