Compatibility question
Hi all I am am building a shuttle box - M/B is socket 775 with DDR3 support chipset is intel ICH7
CPU is q9550 Core 2 Quad
M/B PCB version FG41 V2
Memory support listed by M/B is PC8500 800/1066 I just purchased a single 4GB stick of the RIPJAWS F3-8500CL7S-4GBRL. The M/B I am using is mini-ITX and only has 2 slots - I want to put 8GB in there (spec indicates support for this).
I noticed on the package when I received the memory it says designed for Intel LGA1156 Core i5 and i7 CPUs. Will this memory work for me?
