F3-10666CL8D-4GBHK on my GA-P55A-UD3

I recently completed my build. But I bought the wrong memory for my computer. I checked on gigabyte's web site. This kind of memory from Gskill is compatible with my motherboard. I'm referring to the Gskill F3-10666CL8D-4GBHK.

I plan to purchase this. I just have several questions before buying it.

1. Do I have to configure the memory timings on my bios?

2. Do I have to run memtest just to be sure?

1. I would at least set the timings, the command rate, and maybe even the memory voltage in the BIOS.

2. It's ALWAYS good to run Memtest to make sure new RAM isn't faulty.
