  • F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO XMP stability

    Hello!

I'm having stability issues with XMP profile for F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO installed on an Asus P7P55D with bios 1207. CPU is i5-750. Ran prime95 and errors come up almost immediately.

Currently running in Auto with memory manually set at 7-8-7-24-2T at 1.35v. CPU-Z shows tRFC at 74 cycles. This is running stable.

    Questions:
    1) If I want to use XMP profile do I need to update my bios to resolve the stability issue?
    2) If I decide to run in Auto, is tRFC at 74 too high and if so what's your recommended settings for this memory?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    1) XMP Profile will still work with an older BIOS, but if you still have stability issues, then you will want to try updating the BIOS.

    2) No, tRFC 74 is the minimum.

    Thank you
