  • M4A79XTD EVO with 4GBHK

    What I'm running:
M4A79XTD EVO - latest bios as of 2? weeks ago
AMD athalon II X4 620 - all default values
    4gb - F3-10600CL8D-4GBHK
(Ram settings, everything auto, except for setting 1333, 8-8-8-21, 1.5v)

I'd had issues with BSOD using 4GB F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL, and one of the responses I got back said that that memory wasn't supported by my CPU, and I should switch to a different model. Which is how I've ended up with the 4GBHK.

The problem now is.. I can get it to run with ONE stick in, but not Both. I've swapped stick positions, one stick vs. the other, and it runs fine on either. But I get various BSOD's with both. It will either crash during the windows boot, or shortly after reaching the log in screen.

Right now, I'm typing this is in using one stick in.

    Any suggestions?

What slot do you have them installed in? Make sure they are in the same colored slots. You may have a defective motherboard or CPU.

    Thank you
