  • Stability problems with new build

Using a GIGABYTE GA-P55M-UD2 mobo, Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz cpu, and 4 GB of G.SKILL Ripjaws Series Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL the system boots up fine (Win. XP), and works properly for between 5 and 30 minutes, then freezes. At that point, I have to power down and restart to continue. So far I have left bios settings as they were by default. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Dave

Make sure you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard. Then simply enable the XMP Profile and memory settings should be automatically detected and set for you.

Otherwise, you can manually enter the settings in BIOS, and everything should work fine as well.

    Thank you
