Hi,
My motherboard GA770TA-UD3 runs my new 2x2 Go GSkill F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL at 1333 MHz by default, instead of 1600 MHz.
I set to 1600 (9-9-9-24) manually in bios but got sometimes errors (windows failure, of even bios alerts "overcloked settings" going back to default settings). It might be because I set the Gskill modules to 1T. A very quick pass on memtest under windows led to no error anyway.
- Can you tell me if all the timings you recommend in post #2 here apply to the mb GA770TA-UD3 too ?
- Is 2T necessary for the F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL @ 1600 MHz ?
- I put the 2 memory modules in slot 1 and slot 2 as recommended in the MB manual for dual channel mode operation. Would you recommend any other configuration ?
My system :
Gigabyte GA770TA-UD3
AMD Phenom II X4 955BE (step 3)
2x2 Go DDR3 1600 Rip Jaws (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL)
480w PSU
Windows XP Pro
Hope you can help. Thanxs.
