I have a core i5 750 and I am trying to get my RAM to run at 1600mhz instead of 1333. to do this, I have tried enabling XMP in the bios and setting bclock to 160. however, anytime i enable XMP (even with bclock at 133), my computer will reboot 4 times and on the 4th time i just have a blank screen and wont POST or allow me to go into bios, no matter how many times i try to restart. at that point im forced to reset the CMOS (which is a huge pain, as i have to remove my 2nd video card to reach the jumper).
ive looked around at every other setting in the BIOS and i can't seem to find any way to manually set it to 1600 other than enabling XMP please help
