Just a quick question --
Can i use these 2 sets of ram --
F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM
on the same board at the same time --- the board is a GA-P55A-UD4P with an i7 860 2.8
Ive read forums that say ram can used together like this because the higher listed ram will underclock to match the lower ram settings
I know its an unusual question but i have both these memory sets at my disposal and just hate having 1 set not used and collecting dust since this is my only ddr3 machine currently and im past the RMA point on both sets
