Hello,
I'm about to build my first system(An HTPC), and have purchased G.Skill memory for this purpose.
THe Board is a gigabyte board, with an AMD|ATH II X2 240 AM3 2.8G RT processor, and I'll be running windows 7 64bit.
I"ve been doing my pre-build research to make sure I understand what I'll need to do in order to be successful, and the one item that I've become confused about is the memory and it's setup in the bios.
What I was hoping to get is information on what settings are known to be most stable for this motherboard/cpu.
Several people that have this motherboard have written that they could not use "auto" settings (they recieved BSOD) and had to set manually.
Can anyone please reccomend what settings are known to work well with this board/cpu?
