  • Asus P7P55-LX with RIPJAW 4GB DDR3 registering only 2GB

    i5 2.6Ghz 2gb x 2 Dimm DDR3 1600Mhz 9-9-9-27

    Nothing overclocked at this point.

I had a hard time even getting the motherboard to boot with the ripjaw ram.

Ive set the timings as listed in another section of the forum to

1333MHZ 8-8-8-21 to attempt to attempt get the system to recognize the full amount of memory....

I have tried everything i know to do to make this setup work and its just not working. I could use some help.

Doesn't make sense to me why this system is not recognizing the full amount of memory.

I was running the listed timings at 1600Mhz but same results.

    Perfectly stable though....

Have you tried reseating the memory and making sure it is properly seated? The new memory slot design on this motherboard can be tricky and many times leaves one side popped out. So when applying pressure, make sure to firmly press down on both sides of the module. If you continue to have this issue, go ahead and send them in for new replacements and see if the new set solves the problem.

    Thank you

        http://www.gskill.com/rma.php

Or if you are within 30 days of purchase date, you can simply return them through your original place of purchase.
