G.Skill Support,
Motherboard: Asus P6T
Processor: Core i7 920
Memory: F3-12800 2x2GB
OS: Vista64 Ultimate
The memory lists itself as 1.5V in my BIOS, and with one stick installed in channel A1, I am able to boot and run just fine at with default settings (X.M.P.) and 1600 speed. However when I install the second stick, I need to manually increase the DRAM voltage to 1.65V (maximum for Core i7) to get it to boot. The system is unstable however, it randomly BSODs. This is true regardless of the speed that I am running the memory.
I have updated the BIOS to the most recent release from Asus (0905) and that seemed to help.
I chose this model of memory as it was listed as compatible in my motherboard manual.
Please Advise.
