  • RipJaws problem

I am being plagued by memory problems... blue screens, corruption, reboots...

    RipJaws F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
    MSI 785GM-E51 Mobo
    AMD II x435 tri-core

Currently running only one stick (2GB) of memory, wouldn't run correctly at SPD of 9-9-9-24 at 1333, now at 1066 7-7-7-20 1t still the same problems.

Anyone have experience and/or the proper memroy settings for this setup?

    Thanks!

Do you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard?

With the memory frequency, timings, and voltage set, everything should run just fine.

If you can, post screen shots of your BIOS and I can see what you may have set incorrectly.

Instead of the rated timings, you will need to use DDR3-1333 tCL 8- tRCD 8 - tRP 8 - tRAS 21 - Command Rate 2. Memory Voltage 1.60V.

      Thank you

No real luck. I have notice that it's mostly cold boot problems.... just like this thread -

        http://gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=4059

After maybe a half hour finally getting the thing to boot and run correctly in the morning, the next moring the same problems arise.

Go ahead and send the memory in for new replacements.
