Hello all,
I am in the middle of building a new machine and just ordered the following:
Intel i5-750
Asus P7P55D EVO mainboard
F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO 4GB 2X2GB DDR3-1600 CL7-8-7-24 1.35V Memory Kit
My question is if I want to increase my memory from 4 gigs to 8 gigs, I would like to just be able to purchase another set of the same ram, so that I have all 4 slots used.
I have read in some places that the memory will have trouble reading the speeds properly, thus i should fork out the huge increase and get the 8 gig modules instead.
Is this possible? Is it supported? And is there any changes I will need to make to ensure it works properly?
Hopefully someone can send me in the right direction.
Look forward to seeing how this ram performs.
Kev
