G.Skill DIMM 4 GB DDR3-1600 Kit (F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ, NQ-Serie) shows just 4088MB RAM

Hello!
I think i have a problem with my memory-kit (i use it with the ASUS P7P55D), because in the bios settings and when the pc start up the memory informations shows me just 4088 MB RAM of 4096 MB RAM!?!
Is my memory-kit damaged???
When i install just one memory, then it shows my just 2040MB RAM (with both memory modules!)???

Please help me!
What should i do?

That is very odd, if your system is stable then it should be no problem. Otherwise simply send it in for an exchange and everything should be fine.
