I have been getting random BSOD every since I upgraded my hardware, including:
ASUS P7P55DE LE
Intel i7 860
2 x kits of G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL (ie. 4 x 2 GB DDR3 = 8gb).
Other specs include:
ASUS GTX260 (series 1)
G.Skill 256gb SSD
Western Digital 250gb HD.
SATA DVD burner.
Windows 7 64bit Ultimate
I have all the latest drivers for motherboard and graphics card. Flashed the motherboard, and even had the motherboard replaced!!! Reinstalled Windows, etc etc...
I've had the following BSOD in Windows 7 in the last week:
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 0x03b
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x01a
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA 0x50
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x01a
This is getting very annoying!
If I use Memtest86+ 4.0 with each stick of ram, or altogether I generally don't find any errors, BUT if I run Memtest86+ 4.0 directly after a BSOD crash I find errors! Is the ram failing?
I've had a big argument with the dealer and they are not very helpful, plus I live 3 hours away, and they don't answer emails or phones.
I have also recently bought another kit of DDR3 G.Skill ram where 1 stick was D.O.A. (was replaced by another dealer). and a G.Skill 64gb SSD that was D.O.A. (again, replaced by another dealer). What is going on G.Skill????? I just can't replace this ram because of the stupid dealer!
I am not, nor have overclocked any of this hardware - all running at stock speeds. The BIOS seemed to detect everything ok, plus I've overridden some settings just in case with the ram set to:
1333mhz 9-9-9-24 2N @ 1.5v.
What else can I do? Should I request a RMA?
Will an RMA request replace my RAM or refund?
If the ram is failing do I send all 4 sticks????
I've had Memtest86+ errors at 6477mb, 5469.1mb, and 5461.8mb (I wrote some of these down from last time), does anybody know which modules on the ASUS P7P55DE LE motherboard these might be?
Thanks in advanced.
