    AMD deneb 945
    Gigabyte MA785GT-UD3H
    F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ

my mobo read the ram at 1333 initially so i set it to 1600 and changed all the timing stuff.
then i ran cpuz and easytune
and both says the ram's max bandwidth is PC3-10700 (667 MHz)
is that what it supposed to be?

and my memory score in Windows7 is only 5.9
while others using the same memory say they got above 7.
i know windows score is no big deal but i'm just curious.

Yes, the max bandwidth is the motherboard JEDEC standard. Meaning by simply leaving BIOS to AUTO, the motherboard will only be able to configure up to DDR3-1333. This is why when you initially installed the RAM it only read DDR3-1333. Manual settings must be used or the XMP Profile must be enabled for the motherboard to know you are using memory above DDR3-1333.

In CPU-Z, check the memory tab; DRAM Frequency should show 800MHz (x 2 for double data rate DDR)

    Thank you
