My installation of an OEM version Vista HP 32-bit had some issues. Chose memory using RAM Configurator on G.Skill website. The QVL had 4GB and 6GB configurations for this board. Too expensive and unnecessary for a 32-bit OS. This was a typical installation configuration: CPU, one memory stick, new HD, optical drive, etc.

First, program hung during installation. Hard drive was reformatted and timing was manually set at 8-8-8-21 1T @1066 MHz. Noticed DDR3 was 1.6V. Could not lower voltage in BIOS. Reviews at Newegg and this website were helpful. Program installed w/o issues.

Second, attempted to copy Vista SP1 from CD-R to desktop. Received error message with 1 min, 35 sec remaining before copy action was completed. Reset RAM BIOS to AUTO (9-9-9-24 2T @1333, 1.6V) and rebooted system. SP1 file copied to desktop and installed from desktop w/o issues.

Finally, all drivers and updates installed w/o issues. Vista SP2 was installed using same method. Second memory stick installed. No issues.

Conclusion: I've read one review that mentioned AMD CPUs are 'finicky' about RAM. Something to be aware of when considering an AMD M/B.
