Hello, I would like to know if this set of RAM is compatible with X48 motherboards? I'm looking for a good overclocking RAM, but it seems all that is available is the newer 1.65v versions.

Yep, should have no problems at all, you will just need to overclock your CPU FSB to 2200 to operate DDR3-2200.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm thinking more along the lines of down clocking the RAM somewhere between 1900-2000. Would either setting be possible with a 7-7-7-2N setting or close to it? More than likely I will be using 450FSB [DDR3-1900].

Last time I checked 450 x 4 is 1800 though... =P You will need to test timings, I would think 6-8-8-24 or somewhere along the lines of that.
